Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme
Happy Start Montessori Pre-School participates in the Early Childhood Care and Education scheme (ECCE), which provides children within the eligible age range a pre-school education. Children are eligible to start the ECCE scheme in the September of the year that they turn 3 years old. We operate the ECCE scheme from the beginning of September to the end of June the following year. The scheme is offered for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, 38 weeks of the year.Click here for more information on the Gov.ie website.
National Childcare Scheme (NCS)
Happy Start Montessori Pre-School also participates in the National Childcare Scheme (NCS). This is for children from the age of 2 years 8 months who are not yet eligible for the ECCE scheme.
